Riakeo Tang Ren Jie – 66 Shot Garden Firework Battery (RK-66-2502S)
Riakeo Tang Ren Jie (RK-66-2502S) – Graham’s Thoughts
I won’t pretend I knew what “Tang Ren Jie” meant before I looked it up – turns out it’s Chinatown, and once you know that, the firework makes a bit more sense. Lively, a bit chaotic in the best way, and always something new happening.
Gold coconut tails open things up, breaking into golden chrysanthemum dressed with green, lemon, teal and peach – proper crowded colour palette, that. Then, without much warning, deep blue mines go off from ground level, which I’ll admit got a reaction out of me even after all these years of doing this for a living. The second act brings more coconut tails into golden spider effects – those long reaching arms of light – with red and green strobe woven through. Fifty seconds, well spent.
The detail
- 66 shots, 30mm calibre
- 50-second display
- Golden chrysanthemum: green, lemon, teal, peach
- Deep blue ground mines
- Golden spider with red and green strobe
- F2, 1.4G
Good for Chinese New Year if that’s your sort of celebration, but honestly it’ll do just as well for any night you fancy something a bit busier than usual.
25 metres back, and watch your footing if you’re stood near the ground mines.
