Cakes, sometimes called barrages or shot tube batteries, are fireworks which are made up of a number of different tubes fused together sometimes in the shape of a cake, hence the name. Sometimes these fireworks are referred to  as Shot Tube Batteries. The tubes usually contain all sorts of different colours and effects making them very popular items.
