Forty years in this trade and you develop opinions about names. “Gracefulness” sounds like something you’d put on a wedding invitation, not a firework – but credit where it’s due, it lives up to it.
Blue tails go up first, settling into deep blue dahlia with peach, lemon and green threaded through – calm, controlled, exactly what the name promises. Then it shifts into ti-gold coconut tails breaking into silver silk willow, dressed up with red, green, lemon and sky blue. Properly elegant, that bit. And then – just to remind you it’s still a firework and not a flower arrangement – deep blue mines go off at ground level with a decent thump. Forty seconds, well-paced, nothing rushed.
